Settings for dslr Camera. Part the REIT what is he stop ap
stop step or exposure value all those things are basically the same thing and
all they are is the unit of measurement 4 aperture shutter speed ISO and also light
itself. The alright so here's what I
mean let's just say we're photographing his room here.
It's pretty much well live for the most part we got a lamp their a lamp their a went behind that wall over there, and we even got a softbox here and up at the ceiling and the Y is being bounced and just kinda being it's just filling in some shadow areas down there. So it's pretty much well that for the most part.
I some in manual mode right now and you'll see this bar right here is the exposure compensation bar. These dashes represented stops so right here that is a one-stop darker this is to stop. Starker and that is three stops darker the little dashes in between the big marks mean thirds at the stop. So this is one-third stop darker in this is two-thirds top starter. And now you can move this along that line you can see that. Right now that 0 which is where I wanted to because that means the exposures good incorrect. It's not too dark to bright and you can see there's a minus symbol possible and casein see that before. But if we increase the shutter speed we make our picture brighter. And so now where a third of a second and its one-stop brighter which means we have doubled the amount of light.
If we go two stops writer we're now at one point sixhave a second and we have doubled the amount a light again.
So if we do it again where at one point three seconds and we double the amount a light yet again. So it gets brighter and brighter and brighter exponentially basically.
Now arm we have to figure out what arson what we were settings to be because my cameras on a tripod I already know immediately what I want my settings to be right off the bat.I know that the F number I don't want to be an F 2.8 or something like that because that will give meon shallow depth of field and when you're photographing architecture that's usually not we want to do.usually want everything in the frame to be in focus. So I'm gonna move that up to F 8 is just a sharp response Lance.
Next to no there because I'm on a tripod that the ISO I really want that to be as low as possible cuz I wanna grain in the image. Something with that the two hundred and now the last thing on my mind 1 I'm my calendar tripods the shutter speed.
So already you could see that I'm just gonna move it in order to get it right in the middle, overtake picture right now you can see that comes out really good if you zoom in will notice the everything is in focus, and everything it there's no grain or anything like that.

But let's go back let's
say 10 the hand-hold the shop now these are the ideal settings omg if you're a
trap operator hand-holding and you don't have the luxury of the truck bomb Ben
you're gonna have to change is up. Automatically the first thing on my mind now
is the shutter speed. I want that to be short because I want any motion blur.
So
runaway I know that i'm gonna want that mom know who longer then out soon no
longer than a 40th a second, but just to be safe on the stick it at a six-year
that the second. If you're using a really along zoom lens you would want it to
be something like to 125th that the second or something like that…………………………………..
