HOW TO TAKE PSYCHEDELIC PHOTOS OF CDS

How To Take Psychedelic Photos of CDs. Today I'm going to show are you how I made this picture.  A first you're gonna need a little water dropper and acct next to spend a little time dropping each little drop on CD. This only takes a second X and you're going to want to do is put your camera on a tripod. You can put on a regular tried hard to screw it up right next to the table where the CD is or you can get a tripod that extends over a table. 

Seeking a direct overhead view not to eliminate my CD I was using a mini mag light flashlight. I just held them in from the flashlight. And that allow me to introduce different types and colors onto the CD. Now just so happens that the Mini Mag Lite is actually pretty bright. So what I had to do is get a the little nd 8 filters so I can put it on my lens and dark in the picture. So it's it doesn't overexposed the picture blast everything out. To our looks ugly, after put that on I used at 11 or F-sixteen.

Either one of those I was using most the time. My ISO was on the lower side so possible and my shutter speed was about anywhere from three seconds all the way up to 30 seconds. And I didn't even go into bolt mod and I use my cable release. 
This allowed me to go over thirty seconds. And I did adjust my white balance as well sometimes I use incandescent sometimes these flash when I was using my flash. But if you live in or not only you can get good results, it doesn't have the white balance doesn't really matter too much. 

Okay so now we have the shutter speed to 10 or 30 seconds to smack that whenever we take a picture it's going to be taking the picture for ten thirty seconds. So we're gonna move the flashlight around the CD get it to quell as close to the table as you can. 

Now you can roll around on the actual table but sometimes only do this' look the water drops well kinda bomb pin jiggle and that will cause the picture to go out of focus not work perfectly sure. And remember I'm taking these pictures in the and a very very dark room this visual right here that i've seen is just for demonstrations seeking actually see what I was doing.   

And those your those color gels I was talking about again you can you can move them on top at the CD, you can go on sided the CD, try different angles try different Lancs Heights do what you need to do try with the cap of try all different sorts variations different lights, different settings on your camera, to from white balance is this experiment.
