Photoelasticity Birefringence Photography
Tutorial. In this tutorial alright i'm going to show you how to make this
picture. Now this is a little photography affect called photos in elasticity
this is where you have to pull rising filters you have one behind a posse of
that and you have one in front of the classic object.
Now the one behind the plastic object needs to be linear in his
field linear polarizer most computer monitors already or linearly polarized. So
if you're you're using any laptop screen mike i a m hutch and work fun. And
then the next thing that you need is a polarizing filter for your camera.
Now this is a circular polarizing filter, you can use a linear
polarizer filter can wants but most of the cameras now adays you circular ones.
And if you don't have a circular polarizing filters you didn't use or rising
sunglasses. Some for us if you want to do these to put your laptop on a table
just like this. And then make the screen totally white.
And to do that you can just open up the
notepad and make make a full screen. Next thing you want to do is put your
polarizing filter on your lens and spin it around until it looks good. And then
when it looks pretty good just take your picture and there you go. There is you are super
psychedelic photographic extremist.
Now what this is doing is showing the stress contained inside of
the plastic. What else you can do is actually cross them over and this will be
even anymore well affected you can stack tons of the papa six on each other.
Naked more more more psychedelic as you go on.
Here's some things that i've
discovered that look pretty well. Off plastic forks and spoons really good
because the plastic is really hand, cuffed them and that's the like sort of
like the special ingredients when you're working with stuffing.
Again
packaged plastic you buy that electronics coming those were pretty good. Fast
seat cd divider things, prickly water bottles thirty prickly process more
critically and hard it is the best fossa facts don't work very well for some
things you might think look cool but are not cool water and glass. Photoelasticity Birefringence
